La Santa

Club La Santa began as a dream to offer holidaymakers the perfect combination of sports, activities, and relaxation. Opening its doors in 1983, the resort quickly stood out by providing an engaging alternative to standard beach and nightlife holidays.

Based in sunny Lanzarote, Club La Santa’s unique mix of on-site restaurants, modern sports facilities and stylish rooms offer a beautifully welcoming atmosphere. With over 80 sports and 500 weekly activities available, Club la Santa is a true haven for those looking to fine-tune skills in the sport of their choice, all included in the cost of your stay.

Club La Santa has activities from sunrise to sunset with expert help on hand if you need it. Boasting three 50m swimming pools, a lagoon, newly renovated tennis courts, a state-of-the-art Conica CONIPUR Vmax 400m running track, CrossFit area and more, you are sure to find activities that you will love.

Group sports are a huge part of Club La Santa’s offering, catering for both amateur and professional teams, as well as families and individuals of all levels and abilities. And at all times, the famous Green Team will be on hand to provide a bespoke service and friendly face!

Running

The area surrounding Club La Santa is excellent for running. With on and off-road terrain, there’s something new at every turn. You can start your day the right way with a 2km or 5km morning run led by members of our Green Team. They also offer longer off-road, and hill runs from 8 to 12km.

Not only that, the experts at the Club La Santa performance centre can help you improve your technique, offering in-depth video analysis of your running technique to help identify where you can improve. In addition to daily morning runs, Club La Santa offer longer off-road, and hill runs from 8 to 12 km paced from 5-6 min/km, and track sessions to develop speed. As well as the beautiful surrounding areas, Club La Santa boasts a high-end running track for both professionals and amateurs of all levels to enjoy. Recently refurbished to an impeccable standard, the track is home to 4 x 110m sprint lanes along with 4 x 400m lanes for athletes and a dark blue 450m outer track for leisure runners.

Cycling

Lanzarote is a dream destination for all cyclists. You’ll be treated to farming villages, smooth roads, vineyards, volcanoes, and the sparkling Atlantic Ocean, as well as exciting off-road climbs and tracks. Lanzarote’s roads are well maintained with minimal traffic and there are many exciting routes outside of the resort’s gates. There are circuits for all levels and abilities from 15km to Tinajo and back, all the way up to the famous 180km IRONMAN Route including a leg-sapping 2550m of climbing.

Club La Santa’s world-class performance facility includes a bike fitting centre where an expert team is on hand to improve your comfort in the saddle, boosting power and efficiency. This includes 3D pedal analysis and Shimano Dynamics Lab technology, ensuring the most exact real-time Biometric Analysis of your position on the bike.

The road surface is excellent, just the right amount of grip without feeling heavy and they are super quiet. On many rides, you can count the number of cars that pass you on a couple of hands. The island’s terrain has a bit of everything; there’s plenty of climbs if you seek them out; but the majority is flat and undulating, which is great for keeping groups together.

The volcanic landscape makes for a bit of a change and looks pretty dramatic, especially through the National Park. Finally, if you really want to challenge yourself, you can take on the complete Club La Santa Ironman Lanzarote bike route. At 112 miles and over 8000ft it makes for a decent day out.

Triathlon

Home of Europe’s oldest IRONMAN, the Club La Santa IRONMAN Lanzarote; it is beyond doubt that Club La Santa has been absolutely instrumental in the rich triathlon tradition on the island. From the three heated 50 metre sized swimming pools to the recently resurfaced running track, and not to mention the miles and miles of pristine, smooth and quiet roads; there are countless reasons why Europe’s number one sports and active holiday resort has been a haven for triathletes for decades. With all three sports combined in one destination, Club La Santa really is the place to be for triathlon lovers.

Club La Santa is such a great place to go for a holiday: you can be as active or as inactive as you want, and you don't need to be a "serious" athlete to go. There are all types of classes & activities for everyone, including children & older people. Everyone is super friendly & the instructors are just brilliant.
