Sports Tours International are committed to embedding our key sustainability commitments into our business.
We want to ensure the reduction of our environmental impact, the mitigation of our carbon footprint and the delivery of excellent customer experiences throughout the group.
At our core is our firm belief in the benefits of sport and exercise on mental health, physical health and wellbeing which is underpinned by our charitable Foundation the Running Bee which was created in 2018 to support local communities in the Northwest.
We are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our events, we have reduced the use of print and plastic significantly over the last two years, operationally we source locally wherever we can and work hard to embed sustainability in all that we do.
At Sports Tours International our mission is to help and inspire people through being active. That means doing our part to ensure that future generations, too, have access to clean air, green spaces, and a healthy world in which to run, cycle and be active.
We work closely both locally and internationally with both our own foundation and event partners, through volunteering, donations and access to race entries that may previously have been unattainable.
We believe that the creation of this policy is best served by respecting the interests of all our stakeholders: employees, partners, customers, suppliers, and the wider community. We actively look for opportunities to contribute to the wellbeing of the local community and society.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility policy sets out the principles we follow and the programmes we have developed to focus on the areas where we have significant impact or influence.
Through our individual brands including Sports Tours International, Sports Travel International, Club La Santa UK & Ireland, Freewheel Holidays, and our charitable foundation, The Running Bee, we are committed to embedding and aligning our sustainability commitments and goals to the wider group objectives.
