TRAVEL INFORMATION
Getting to the Walt Disney
Orlando International Airport (MCO): located about 32 km (20 miles) from the resort.
• Airport Transfers: The easiest way to reach Walt Disney World is via pre-booked shuttle transfers or private car services, which take around 25–40 minutes depending on traffic. Many hotels and Disney Resort properties also offer their own transfer options.
• Taxi: Taxis and ride-hailing apps like Uber and Lyft are readily available from the airport. A journey to Walt Disney World typically takes 25–35 minutes and costs around $50–$70.
Getting around Walt Disney World & Orlando
• Disney Transportation: Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels benefit from complimentary transportation across the entire resort, including buses, monorails, water taxis, and the Disney Skyliner gondola system – making it easy to reach race events, theme parks, and hotels.
• Bus & Shuttle Services: Many off-site hotels offer free or low-cost shuttle buses to the Disney parks and race locations, though schedules can vary during marathon weekend.
• Car: Driving gives you the most flexibility to explore beyond Disney, such as Universal Orlando, International Drive, or Florida’s beaches. Parking is widely available, though fees may apply.
• Walking: Within Walt Disney World Resort itself, many areas – including race start and finish zones, hotels, and parks – are easily walkable.

The accommodation was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside. Our rep, David was so helpful. The guided tour to the Expo was great and David answered all our questions (we had alot)! He helped put our minds at ease whilst we prepared for the most insane running adventure we have ever done. Overall, we had the best trip ever. The whole thing was a dream come true! I am already signed up for notifications for the trip again next year.

Bent over backwards to make trip smooth and enjoyable. Super friendly and informative. Went extra mile (literally) in doing recce incredibly early on Sunday morning before emergency bib collection. We all knew what to expect at every step of the experience and as a result zero dramas (that I am aware of). An ace team of reps who all deserve special praise.
