RACE ROUTE
The final weekend of the Tour de France promises a spectacular celebration of sport, style, and Parisian elegance. Across two days, the race reaches its grand conclusion in the heart of the French capital. On Saturday, Paris welcomes the riders arriving from the Alps, as excitement builds along its famous boulevards. Then, on Sunday, the ultimate showdown unfolds – a 130-kilometer route beginning in Thoiry and winding toward the capital’s landmarks.
The peloton will complete three laps of the legendary Champs-Élysées circuit before tackling the new Montmartre loop, featuring three ascents of the cobbled Rue Lepic, a climb that combines charm, grit, and drama. The stage culminates in a thrilling sprint beneath the Arc de Triomphe, followed by the traditional podium ceremony, where the yellow jersey is celebrated.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Getting to Paris – Tour de France Weekend Package
Paris is served by three major airports: Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Orly (ORY), and Beauvais (BVA). Both Charles de Gaulle and Orly are just 30–45 minutes from the city centre by taxi or train.
Getting Around Paris – During the Tour de France
During the Tour de France finale weekend, Paris comes alive with celebration. Getting around is simple thanks to its excellent public transport:
- Metro: The Paris Métro is fast, reliable, and the best way to reach the Champs-Élysées. Use stations such as Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau, Franklin D. Roosevelt, or Concorde for easy access to hospitality areas.
- Walking: Central Paris is compact, and many grandstands are within walking distance of one another.
Taxi / Rideshare: Widely available but expect detours or limited access near race zones.
