SYDNEY MARATHON ROUTE

The TCS Sydney Marathon offers a scenic and challenging 42.195 km course, beginning on Miller Street in North Sydney and concluding at the Sydney Opera House. The course features a net elevation loss of 83 metres, with a net gain of 317 metres and a loss of 400 metres, making it a moderately hilly route. Strategic improvements have been recently made to enhance the runner experience, including a streamlined route through Centennial Park and a revised final stretch that eliminates the challenging Moore Park Road climb. With a 7-hour time limit and ample hydration stations, it’s an ideal race for both seasoned marathoners and first-timers.
