The 42.2km Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is a prestigious global city race open to a range of running enthusiasts from elite athletes to social runners. Along the spectacular route, you will take in the famous natural icon of Cape Town Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean, as well as many of the city’s great attractions from street art, to the Madiba Statue at the City Hall, to the hustle and bustle of Woodstock. The race takes place on October 15th starting in five batches between 6.15am and 6.47am. Boasting exceptionally dry weather and an average early morning temperature of 14C, running conditions on this flat and fast course are exceptional. The comprehensive race infrastructure includes multiple water and feed stations along the course. The start area even features no fewer than 12 coffee stations.

If airport transfers are included in your package, we will transfer you and your Luggage to the hotel. If you are on a cycling holiday, we will also transfer your bike.

Children are welcome on our trips with the exception of some Hospitality packages.

Any dietary requirements e.g., Vegetarian or Vegan etc needs to be advised to us at booking stage. We will then request the meals with the relevant hotel.

Yes, we cater for solo travellers, we can offer single rooms or twin share rooms

On many of our travel packages we offer our free ‘Twin to Share’ service where you pay to share a room rather than the supplement for a single room. We encourage single travellers to join our tours and rooms for single occupancy are available on all our tours, but we also offer the opportunity to book our ‘Twin to Share’ service. This option which means that we pair you up with another athlete of the same sex so you can enjoy the event without having to pay the single occupancy supplement.

All our entries are Guaranteed there is no ballot, lottery or fundraising required once your entry is paid it is guaranteed.

A deposit will be required at time of booking to secure your place.
