PRAGUE HALF MARATHON ROUTE
The race begins and ends at Jan Palach Square, providing a central and scenic location that captures the essence of Prague. As you run, you’ll pass through the Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, and along the charming cobblestone streets of Prague.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Getting to Prague
Václav Havel Airport (PRG): Prague’s main international airport, located about 17 km west of the city centre. It serves direct flights from across Europe and many global destinations.
• Airport Express Bus: A direct bus service runs between the airport and Prague Main Railway Station (Hlavní Nádraží) in around 35 minutes.
• Taxi: Taxis are available outside the terminals, costing around 700–900 CZK (€28–€36) for a 25–35 minute journey into central Prague, depending on traffic.
Getting around Prague
• Metro: Prague’s Metro system is fast, clean, and efficient, covering most of the city and major sights. Trains run every 2–5 minutes from early morning until midnight.
• Trams: The tram network is one of the best ways to get around, especially in the historic city centre. Daytime trams run every few minutes, and several night tram routes operate.
• Walking: Prague’s historic centre is compact and very walkable. Many of the city’s main attractions, including the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and Prague Castle – are best explored on foot.

Itinerary
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL DAY
Welcome to Prague! Please make your own way to the hotel. In the evening, join us for welcome drinks at the hotel, where you’ll have the chance to meet fellow Team Sports Tours runners participating in the tour.
DAY 2 – BREIFING, ESCORTED EXPO TRIP, SIGHTSEEING TOUR
This morning our reps will lead you on a guided 5K shakeout run around the surrounding area. Next is our pre-race briefings for the Prague Half Marathon. Our experienced team will go over what to expect and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Next, we’ll escort you to the race expo to browse merchandise and collect your race bib for the Prague Half Marathon. Today you will also be able to enjoy a guided tour sightseeing around Prague. (Timings for the tour will be confirmed.)
DAY 3 – PRAGUE HALF RACE DAY
Race day in Prague! Best of luck to all runners. Spectators can join us at a designated cheer point to support the runners. After the race, celebrate your achievements with Team Sports Tours during our post-race celebration. Don’t forget to bring your medals!
DAY 4 – DEPARTURE DAY
The tour comes to an end this morning. Please check out of your room unless you’ve decided to extend your stay.

Things to do in PRAGUE
Walk Across Charles Bridge
Wander a medieval masterpiece dating to 1357, lined with statues and street performers. It connects Old Town and Mala Strana, offering fairy-tale views, especially at sunrise or sunset.
