Prepare to add a new challenge to your bucket list, by running six European half marathons: Lisbon Half M arathon, Prague Half Marathon, Berlin Half Marathon, Copenhagen Half Marathon, Cardiff Half Marathon and Valencia Half Marathon, which once completed, entitles you to a SuperMedal.

Sports Tours International is excited to add the SuperHalf series to its portfolio, as it will bring a whole different clientele.

What Are The SuperHalfs?

The SuperHalfs are an exciting series of six half marathons that started in 2022, offering a unique experience of athletic achievement and cultural exploration. taking place in some of Europe’s most iconic cities, Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Cardiff, and Valencia. These races invite runners to tackle the 13.1-mile distance while immersing themselves in the vibrant local culture, historic landmarks and stunning landscapes.

Designed to inspire both seasoned and aspiring athletes, just like the famous Abbott World Marathon Majors (Abbott WMM), this running challenge is attracting those who have conquered the Abbott WMM or athletes who are seeking an exciting alternative to full marathons.

Runners taking part in the SuperHalfs series are challenged to complete all six races, earning not only a medal for each half marathon but also a SuperHalfs medal upon completing the series. This unique reward celebrates endurance and dedication.

Beyond participating in the half marathon and testing athletes’ physical limits, the SuperHalf series offers runners the opportunity to explore the unique charm that each city offers and create some unforgettable memories.

What Half Marathons Are Included in the SuperHalf Series?

EDP Lisbon Half Marathon

Each year, around 27,000 athletes join together in Portugal’s capital, Lisbon, for the Lisbon Half Marathon. The race half marathon course takes runners through the shores of the River Tagus, with an unforgettable start at the iconic 25 de Abril bridge and finishes overlooked by the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos monument.

This half marathon is an opportunity for athletes to challenge themselves to a Personal Best (PB) as tis half marathon is known for its flat and fast course. The Lisbon Half Marathon held the men’s world record for the distance from 210 – 2018 with thousands of runners earning their PB.

Generali Prague Half Marathon

The Prague Half Marathon has been an annual springtime event since 1999, attracting runners from around the world to the heart of the Czech Republic. This scenic, looped course goes through Prague’s most iconic landmarks, including the Charles Bridge, the historic Prague Castle, the grand National Theatre, Vyšehrad Castle, and the stunning Rudolfinum Concert Hall.

This popular half marathon has earned its place as one of Europe’s most sought-after races, appealing to top athletes who set records on its fast and flat course. With the inspiring motto, “All Runners Are Beautiful”, the event was created to motivate the people of Czech Republic to become more active.

Generali Berlin Half Marathon

Every year in early April, the Berlin Half Marathon welcomes runners to experience this spectacular event. Athletes start and finish between the Federal Chancellery, Reichstag, Victory Column and the iconic Brandenburg Gate in the heart of this lively city.

The Berlin Half Marathon is the ultimate sightseeing tour on foot, taking runners on an unforgettable journey through the city’s rich history, vibrant neighbourhoods and stunning modern architecture. Runners will soak up the lively atmosphere of cultural streets, clubs, parks and nature escapes. Kick off your trip at the Half Marathon Expo at the iconic former Templehof Airport, where you will collect your race day kit.

This race is known for its super fast and flat course, perfect for athletes chasing new personal bests (PBs). This race is a perfect kick start to a running year.

Copenhagen Half Marathon

Founded in 2015, the Copenhagen Half Marathon has quickly become a bucket-list event for athletes across the world. This scenic race is like a guided sightseeing tour on foot, taking runners past some of the most iconic landmarks. Along the way, runners will pass The Old Stock Exchange, The Parliament at Christiansborg, The Marble Church, and the striking Black Diamond library.

The half marathon route will take athletes through some of Copenhagen’s most vibrant districts including the trendy streets of Nørrebro, the picturesque Frederiksberg Allé, often called the “Nordic Champs-Élysées”, the lively Vesterbro, and the historic Inner City. Finishing the race at the Frederiksberg Allé, making for an unforgettable race-day experience.

Principality Building Society Cardiff Half Marathon

An event like no other, the Cardiff Half Marathon was started in 2003 and has become one of the UK’s leading events, with a series of Junior Races across the weekend giving runners of all ability and ages a chance to get involved. In 2026, this event solidified its reputation on the world stage by hosting the prestigious World Half Marathon Championships. Now part of the renowned SuperHalfs series, it continues to attract elite runners and passionate athletes from across the globe.

With over 27,500 entries each year, this must-run half marathon route takes runners through some of the cities most iconic landmarks including the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Bay, the Civic Centre and Cardiff Castle.

Valenica Half Marathon

Known for its prestigious title, the best half marathon in Spain, awarded by The Royal Spanish Athletics Federation. The Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich has earned its reputation in Spain and has quickly become a favourite among runners worldwide, attracting athletes to experience its fast course and electrifying atmosphere.

Valencia has more to offer beyond the race itself. With its flat, wide streets makes and mild temperatures all year round, this the perfect runner-friendly destination. This event is an ideal setting for those chasing personal bests (PBs) or simply soaking in the cities vibrant energy. Athletes can experience the cities rich culture, renowned cuisine, and stunning sights, from the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences to the charming historic Old Town.
