Chris has taken on the challenge to mark a landmark anniversary for his PR Company, Bird Consultancy. On the 30th of September, Bird will be celebrating 30 years in business. Chris says of the company’s longevity
Chris is taking on his running challenge in aid of The Running Bee Foundation. The foundation is a young and exciting charity with the health and wellbeing of the northwest at its heart. RBF was established in 2018 with a mantra to help the region#BeeActiveBeeHealthyBeeHappy. The charity champions health and wellbeing initiatives across the northwest. They aim to educate on, and promote, the benefits of a active healthy lifestyle, and are active in the ongoing fight against childhood obesity. You can find out more about The Running Bee Foundation, and their forthcoming events HERE.
Chris, like so many others, finds running a great release and benefit to his mental health. He is passionate about spreading the message about inclusive, active lifestyles, and sees The Running Bee Foundation as the perfect way to get his message out there!

Chris will burn a staggering 10,000 – 12,000 Calories over the course of his 150 km total run. That equates to around 40 slices of pizza!
150km is far enough to get you from Manchester to Birmingham, or London to Leicester, and you’d still have a few Ks left to run when you got there!
To travel 150 km, the average person would need to take close to 200,000 steps!
Over the course of his runs Chris is likely to produce around 13.3 litres of sweat. That equates to 28 pints – thirsty work!
The world record for running 159 km (in one go!) is 10:36:42. It was set by Scottish ultra running legend Don Ritchie, in London, in 1977.
