Road Cycling Icon David Millar partners with Sports Tours International

British cycling pioneer, David Millar, has joined forces with Sports Tours International, Europe’s leading travel operator for cyclists, to celebrate its 50^th anniversary.

Millar’s appointment as brand ambassador comes days after Sports Tours revealed a dynamic brand refresh, and he will play a pivotal role in helping the Manchester-based business develop its product offering.

This September will see the launch of ‘The Authentic Girona Experience with David Millar’ – an exclusive four-day trip through the burgeoning cycling mecca of Girona, guided by the only British cyclist to have worn the leader’s jersey in all three Grand Tours and strictly limited to only 30 riders.

Millar will also provide content and inspiration for hundreds of amateurs taking on bucket list challenges with Sports Tours this summer, including the Etape du Tour, Maratona dles Dolomites, La Marmotte and Haute Route Series.

Full details of the Girona Experience will be released on May 18^th following a launch event at iconic cycling venue, VIA Atelier in Kings Cross, London.
