New date for the 2021 Gran Fondo Strade Bianche: Sunday 12 September

The 2021 Gran Fondo Strade Bianche will have a new date in 2021. The professionals will still race on the original March date. 

The new date set for the 2021 Gran Fondo Strade Bianche is Sunday 12 September. This is a perfect time to enjoy cycling in Tuscany and the splendid scenery of the Crete Senesi, to visit the city of the Palio and its surroundings.

The Organizing Committee, together with the Municipality of Siena and the Italian Cycling Federation have approved the new date in the calendar. They are confident that they will be able to organise the event in greater safety, and to guarantee the numbers of the previous editions.

With this in mind, the organization will guarantee the whole registration fee and make three options available to those who are already registered to the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche March 8, 2020. Sports Tours International will offer the same options:

Entries

• Transfer the registration to September 2021
• Transfer the registration to 2022
• Transfer the registration, free of charge, to another participant ONLY for September 2021

Travel packages

New September date for Gran Fondo Strade Bianche – MORE INFO HERE

Sports Tours International will offer a travel package for 2 or 3 nights in Siena. The same options will be available as before (airport transfers, bike rental, guaranteed entry etc.). As the pro race will not take place the same weekend, we will not be able to offer any of the hospitality elements, so a refund is available for this.

2022 Strade Bianche Weekend – MORE INFO HERE

We expect that the Strade Bianche weekend will be held in March once more. We also expect the usual format, with the Pro race on the Saturday and the Gran Fondo on the Sunday.

Different options

• Choose any of the entry options offered by the organisers (no refunds on entries).
• Transfer the deposit paid for the package to the new 2021 September date.
• Transfer the deposit paid to the 2022 Strade Bianche Weekend.
• Choose a credit note to put towards booking another Sports Tours Cycling trip (additional charges may apply).
• Refund on the travel package element of the booking.
